Separation of enantiomers of FMOC-amino acids using high-performance liquid chromatography on polysaccharide-based chiral columns

In the present thesis a separation of enantiomers of 19 FMOC –amino acids has been studied in high-performance liquid chromatographz using polysaccharide-based chiral columns and normal- and polar organic mobile phases. Chiral column Lux Cellulose-1 exhibited the most universal chiral recognition ability towards the studied analytes and provided at least baseline enantioseparation for 18 of 19 derivatives. The reversal of the enantiomer elution order was observed based on the chemistry of the chiral selector, composition of the mobile phase.
