Bachelor’s thesis is about first order hyperbolic partial differential equations. These equations describe a wide range of wave propagation or transport phenomenon arising in many scientific or engineering discipline .There are described Numerical methods to approximate the solution of this equation. In particular, there are discussed Godunov’s method and finite volume method for linear and nonlinear conservation laws. In addition, here is also given the idea how to develop high order resolution schemes. The ultimate goal of thesis is construction of high –order- resolution method using interpolation.
